Avondale Network Nights
Come along to create and deepen connections, inform and be informed about all the good stuff happening in Avondale, and identify opportunities for working together. The format of network nights includes a round of introductions, an opportunity for information and topic sharing followed by conversation groups around topics / information. Network Nights are open to all who care about Avondale and can work positively. E-mail or text 0204 812 788 to share & receive e-mail notices, and / or to offer to host a Network meeting in your space.
Avondale Network Closed Facebook Group
A tool for people who are doing good stuff in Avondale to share opportunities to work together, ideas, resources, information, and connections, and to seek and receive help and advice from each other. Search up ‘Avondale Collaboration Network’.
Collaboration Network Resource Sharing Platform
The Collaboration Network Resource Sharing Platform has two types of shared resource:
Community owned shared items - resources that have been purchased on behalf of the Avondale Community or have been gifted or loaned for shared community use (refer to guidelines), and
Resources that belong to individuals, groups, businesses, organisations / agencies who are willing to share a resource or resources with others on a case by case basis. Communication should be made directly with the resource’s owner and terms of use negotiated.
Current community owned shared items are 13 bean bags, a portable PA system, and some pieces of fake grass. These items are available for use by organisations, groups, businesses, individuals and government agencies who are working positively for Avondale. Community Owned Shared Items can be used for community-related activities, events, and workshops / training sessions.
Avondale Collaborative Events
From time to time, as capacity allows, the Avondale Collaboration facilitates / leads collaboratively organised events - a process that deepens and extends connections. If you have an idea for an event, the capacity to lead / co-lead an event, or would potentially like to join an event organising team please let get in touch
